Corrections

How to report an error on Diagnosis Forward, and how we fix it.

Diagnosis Forward links to other publishers' reporting, so most errors fall into one of three kinds: something we wrote (a machine-written summary or a Blueprint briefing), something we displayed (a wrong credit, image or link), or an error in the original article itself.

How to request a correction

Use the contact form. Include the link to the page on this site, what is wrong, and what it should say, with a source if you have one.

What we do

  • Errors in our own text. We correct the summary or briefing, or remove it if it cannot be fixed reliably, and add a note to the page saying what changed.
  • Errors in a credit, image or link. We fix them as soon as we confirm the problem.
  • Errors in the original article. The publisher owns its reporting, and we cannot change it. We will tell you so, and if their article is corrected, the link here leads to the corrected version.

Publisher removal requests

If you publish a feed, story or image that appears on Diagnosis Forward and would rather it did not, tell us through the contact form. We honor removal requests from publishers: the story or image is taken down, and if you ask, your feed is removed from the list we read.
